What is RootedNomads.com?
RootedNomads, is a travel blog for sporadic but passionated travellers.
Why did you create it?
RootedNomads was born mainly as a place where we could store the memories of our trips and also share our little or big adventures with friends and family.
Since we constantly surf the web and spend hours on hundreds of blogs and travel sites, we thought that we could also give something back. We don’t expect you to like everything we liked or did, but we wanted to share our experiences nonetheless.
What does Rooted Nomads mean?
While we would love to keep travelling, we’re also quite comfortable living a “normal” life with a day job and a home to go back to. RootedNomads should represent both our long term “base camp” and our passion to be on the move.
Who are you?
Os & Jo
We’ve been together for a long time and we’ve both been bitten by the travel bug.
Os was born in South America but moved to Switzerland as a child. He works in IT and looks after the blog. Jo is from Switzerland and works in Finance. She is also learning photography and some of her work is on these pages.
Together, we’ve visited 50+ countries in all continents and the dream is to keep going until we hit 3 digits and beyond.
